What’s a SkillCard? It’s a short 7-minute test you take to prove your skills. Once you pass, you get a SkillCard you can use to apply for jobs.
How many SkillCards are there? Right now, you can choose from 8 SkillCards, all in tech fields. More are coming soon.
Can you use one SkillCard for another role? No — each SkillCard is specific to its role. If you want to apply for Data Science, you’ll need to take the Data Science test.
How many jobs are linked to each SkillCard? About 30 jobs, and we update them every day.
Does this model actually work? Yes. Most hiring happens outside job boards — through referrals and connections. With B’tawfiq, you get access based on your skills, not who you know.
Recruiter Interest & Contact
How do you know if a recruiter is interested in you? We track recruiter behavior — if they open your email or check your profile, you’ll see it on your dashboard.
Who sends the email to the recruiter? We send it on your behalf. You can track if it’s been opened anytime on your My Applications page.
Are recruiters on the platform? No — and they don’t need to be. Recruiters check their inbox on average 6 times a day, so reaching them there gives you faster visibility.
Is this meant to replace LinkedIn? No. Think of B’tawfiq as the proof of skills, and LinkedIn as the place recruiters go to learn more about you. They complement each other.

Your Credits & Subscriptions
How do your credits work? Your 30 SAR/month subscription gives you 30 credits. Each recruiter email you send costs 1 credit (the cost of 1 bottle of water).
What if a recruiter doesn’t open your email? Don’t worry — if it’s unopened after 72 hours, you’ll automatically get that credit back.
Do your unused credits roll over? No, your credits reset each month.
Why is there a daily limit? To protect you and recruiters from spam. You can send up to 5 SkillCards per day. This keeps outreach high-quality and ensures recruiters actually look at your applications.
